I have an 01 I30 and I found several service bulletins that pertain to my vehicle that need to be completed. Has anyone ever had this done and is it too late to get them done since the bulletins were put out in 2002.

Bulletin number 1 - 2001 I30 and 2002 I35 Rear Suspension Bottoms out when there are two people riding in the back seat area. Bulletin says to remove and replace the rear springs with different part number springs.

Bulletin number 2 - doors lock by themselves at random.

Thanks

if those are factory recalls you'll get'em done for free at a dealership unless the previous owner had them done already. if you're the original owner call your dealer and schedule an app to get it done.

Service bullitens are there for reference when a customer complains and the car has a history of the same issue, so they have a "quick fix" to solve problems. A recall is usually linked to a safety issue, if the customer can be harmed, there will be a recall. If you wish to have TSBs executed, they will charge you accordingly. Recall work is about 99% free. You should take your car to your local dealer and ask them for a VIN repair history. I did this when I bought my car over a year ago and they fired it right out for me. Now of course, that was only work performed within the Nissan/Infiniti family.--Mike
