240sx coming soon.

Post

Hello all, I am looking to buy a Nissan 240sx. Down here in Alberta, we have pretty limited selection when it comes to sports cars. Trucks however, different story haha.

Anyway, this one has come up in our local classified ads http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicl ... Z558800076. It is listed as 4500 which I think is to much, even if it has no frame rail / rocker rust, and low km's. So I'm looking for all of your opinions to help me make the right decision and tell me what is a good price. I already have talked to him and i think i could get it for 3500. Which i still feel unsure about since it lacks abs/hicas and most importantly the vsld.

The car has no rust,
170 000k (lowest ive ever seen for sale)
The rims are pretty bad and it definitely needs coilovers, but that can come later.

Thanks.

one word, Drift Tax. But if its clean and everything works and its the car you want then go for it. these cars are getting harder and harder to find in decent shape and haven't been drifted.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah you make a good point. Plus this one hasn't ever (apparently) been drifted and that's pretty uncommon as well.

How hard is it to swap a vsld if I can snag one? I'm very mechanically inclined so I'm sure I could do it.

Really? Do I have a surprise for you. How about one with 98,000km. Check out this link post6546580.html#p6546580
