What's goin on fella's!! I am trying to figure out where the hell this plug goes too. It's located under the intake manifold on the larger main harness, where the alternator, and starter power wires split. (near the oil filter)

I had the harness done by a reputable person, but, after re-installing the new harness, I can't find a female end for this plug anywhere within reach. I basically have every plug connected except this one. I looked at the fsm, and I'm starting to think that it could've been connected to the original automatic transmission harness from the S14.. Again, I can't figure it out...

The car is a 1995 S14 with a S1 RB25DET.

Thanks for the help!

Here is a better pic of the where the plug works into the main harness. I checked my harness up near the thermostat, and I already have the plug for the fuel injectors plugged in, so it is NOT that harness. (Looks identical)

Any idea's?

hey, um show pics of the actual plug easier to see.

the one you did show is for the injectors. Grey wire is the 12v the rest are ground signals to each injector.

so, you're saying there is a second (identical) plug that attaches to the injector harness on the back side of the intake manifold near the firewall? (to match the one that is already plugged in at the front of the motor)

Those first 4 pics are the best I can do.

The plug that you have there is definitely not for the injectors. I didn't look closely enough before replying. The injector plug has a gray wire like that one for the 12V supply, but the rest of the wires in the injector plug are white with a colored stripe or yellow for injector 5. I cannot find any plug on the RB25 wiring diagram that shows another plug like that one with similar colored wires. Are you sure it isn't part of your lower harness? or that it plugs into a female receptor under the fuse/relay box?

Is the lower harness considered the one that has the alternator power wire, the starter power wire, which lead to a split coming from the positive battery? This is exactly where this unknown plug is coming from... right at that split. I'm starting to think that this is just a plug from for something with the original Ka automatic transmission..

Thanks for the help, guys!! I'm just gonna ignore it, assuming that I won't need, because most of you have agreed that it is NOT required for the RB to run, therefore, should be irrelevant or not needed at this point.

Yes the "lower harness" is separate from the main engine harness and typically contains the starter, alternator, speed sensor, reverse light wiring. Did you have that part of your harness sent out with the main harness? If so, the speed sensor and reverse lights may have been wired into that part of it. The lower harness does plug in below the fuse box by the battery so see if the plug matches anything down there.
