Work lots of work. Work on 5 hrs sleep or less, work all day until dog tired then continue. Overtime is key! Find a job with more workload than employees can handle and master your skills. You'll always have work, and almost always need to stay late and get the magical OT.

Lifeguarding for the city of Brea, teaching at Costa Mesa High School (not a real teacher, I'm sort of like an assistant), and teaching private swim lessons. Oh, I'll be your local event EMT too since I'm finally getting a job with my year and a half old license. I do most of this nonsense during the summer, cuz I'm a student at UCI.

I work at a newspaper and takes forever to get money up for parts.

Of course I do own a Jeep Wrangler that keeps eating parts.
