Hi, I'm new here. I'll be picking up a 99 pathfinder se in a few days. I like the looks of the 99.5 better, and wonder if any of the parts are swappable.
What parts from the 99.5 PF can be swapped to the 99?

Pretty much everything if you have the money.
Tail lights come to mind as a cheap upgrade. The whole front clip would be on the expensive side.

WHOOPS just realized you got a PATHFINDER not a qx4! SO alot of this stuff wont apply to you, sorry! lol but if you want to know the diff between 99 qx4 and 99.5 qx4 here it is
the 99 and 99.5 are pretty much identical. Taillights are exactly the same and the front end has clear lenses and corners on the 99.5 which are pretty noticeable, everytime I see a 97-99 im proud of how much nicer just the clearer lights are. It wouldnt be an expensive upgrade if you came across the right deal.

As for the rest, heres somethings the 99.5-00's have that are noticeable at least to me...
-Check out the speedo...the 99.5-00 has a sportier, more modern font, along with a digital odometer. This could be a cheap upgrade if your fine with a different mileage.my speedo (changed to blue lighting)97-99..only pic i could find, the gauges arent white though and the font isnt that one, but the odometer is like that
-our glass isnt the chrome-refelctive kind, its straight up black. (but yesterday I saw a white 98 with mirrored glass all around..gorgeous) as long as your local po-po's arent gonna hassle you. This would probably be too much $$$ mine 97-99all 3 points here can be seen in the following comparison pics-Electronic 4WD control....this is something your going to have to do without. We have a cool little compartment with flip up door instead, something even the 00+ pathfinders dont have (instead just a tray)-the stock head unit and the climate control are much different, although I think the 97-98 had the old climate control and the 99's are all same-steering wheel is sportier on the 99.597-9999.5-2000
lastly, im not sure about this one....the gas tank has a switch on the door in mine along with the rear hatch glass switch, this one im unsure about.
Dont forget that theres a few 01+ QX4 parts you can throw on too, I want to get the rear hatch for mine, im sure it would fit. I love the reverse lights on them. Also the taillights fit perfect as well on the 1st gen Q's from the 01+, wheels, if you got $$$ the front end, but thats not really worth it unless you get a great deal.
I might have missed a few things but the 99.5 conversion would take you quite a bit of $$$ and the value of the 99-99.5 in my area at least is identical because people dont notice these things, which is a bargain if your very interested in those extras, but to 99% of people...their not even noticed. The 01+ QX4's have much different pricing which is completely acceptable with the power upgrades, stock HID's, facelift, and redesigned interior.
