Okay i've already searched but came up with contradicting info. I have a Greddy turbo elbow that did not include the o2 adapter to utilize the factory thin type o2. Now i need the adapter or a fat type o2.

The parts guide sticky shows a 87 300ZX. A few posts from the top of that thread shows a '95 300ZX which is supposedly the same fat type that phase2 sells? Anyways - i searched for a 95 300ZX on ebay.. and they also cross reference the part for a 95 Q45?

I went to autozone and pepboys today and asked for both o2s for both 95 300ZX and 95 Q45. I suppose theyre both precat o2's since thats what they seem like. Both the o2's were special order and none of the parts cross matched. I did try to fit a universal o2 for a 95 Q45 and it threaded fine, but this universal o2 did not come up as a match for the 95 300ZX.

Now my question is.. what can i use as a replacement o2 for the fat type on a redtop? I started with a thin type, but i do not have the o2 adapter to use it on the turbo outlet.

Are the part numbers at autozone different because of the o2 plug /length?? Why wouldnt the universal o2's cross reference each other at the store?

Even if the Q45 universal does fit... would the reading be any different?

Please help. Thanks in advance!

not that I know of. But then again I've never really had much incentive to look for a fat type that would read properly on a redtop...

Contact Greddy and tell them you didn't get the adapter with your elbow. Maybe they can send you one.

I recently brought a greddy outlet pipe and mine did not come with a adapter either. Which o2 sensor is needed the 95 300zx na or the 95 300zx turbo. Aparently they are different and my car has some idle issues.

Not a direct answer, but FWIW, If you're ever contemplating running a PLX or similar wideband, their o2 sensors all plug into the stock location.
