there's a thread on here called "the m30 education", pretty interesting stuff.

So far from what I've read, Z31 and S13 are swappable.

hope that helps.

I always thought that the nissan stanza looked very similar to the M30 - M30 being the upscale coupe with a v6. I saw a stanza that day with all infiniti logos - looked very stock.. made me laugh for a while though.

I know that JDM Nissan Bluebirds did come with V6 motors not sure if that was the same, was it?

well, the stanza was the bluebird in Japan, which from what i've read was awd/turboed.. not sure about the 6 being in them.

the f31 was the leopard. and only rwd. and VG series motor all the way.

another car that is similar was the s12... the v6 version has the same m30 and Z31 300zx.

Stanza is FWD and M30 is RWD. They do look very similat, but like Forrest and Bubba, there is no relation.

As for production numbers, I first read there were 5000 built, half verts and half coupes. But according to this link, there were many more than that.http://www.nissannews.com/infi...s.pdf
