I have the square style dash that came in the '90 models. I went to the junkyard and grabbed myself an entire rounded dash, metal brackets, wiring pigtails, buttons, the whole shabang to do a dash swap. I didn't get a cluster though. Every 94 and up truck was missing the cluster. I didn't get the trans sensor either. This is where you guys hopefully come in. Since I am upgrading to the newer style dash, are there any car clusters that will fit? I've seen some of these guys on here swapping s13 guages, and that'd be great, but I don't know if it matches the contours of the d21 dash. I'd love to just do a simple swap, but me being a minitrucker-nothing is gonna be simple, straight forward, or easy.

I plan on doing a fuel cell when I lay out my truck. While i'm on the topic of gauges... Are there any aftermarket sending units that will work with our factory fuel gauges?

First and second gen Altima (93-01) clusters are similar in shape.

would the wiring be similar, by chance? I think my local junkyard MIGHT have one or two of those...

i did some googling, and found some pics. They too, are wire fed signals from a sending unit. I just wonder if the stock sending unit from a elctronic signal'd HB would match up with the signal required for that speedo.... or if the altima sending unit might even bolt into our trans.... That would be even better, however unlikely.
