Hey everyone! nice forum you got here....Liked the exterior mods topic..

I thought id ask for some advice from all you altima experts...

I am going to buy an A/C 2.5 S with premium package and was wondering if i should also get fog lights factory installed vs aftermarket?

Do you think i should get the dealer to tint the windows or should i do it myself/have someone else do it?

Right now I am getting it for $1700 below msrp (for base+premium). Does that sound reasonable?

I think it's possible to get it at $500 over invoice rather than $1700 below MSRP. As far as the fogs go, it's up to you. I personally like aftermarket more than factory.

Happy to hear that your considering the Altima Coupe. If you can work a deal in with your price on the windows being tinted than do it! Its really up to you. I had mine done outside of the dealer because I'm picky and wanted a specific shop to do it.

I would go with the factory installed foglights. Much nicer looking and they are made for your car. Aftermarket ones run the risk of not fitting or suiting the car.

I ordered a 2.5S A/C w/ Convenience package. I am having the fog lights installed at the dealer when the car is delivered. I'm doing it this way because of the Nissan's package restrictions.

I'm going to have my windows tinted by another shop because they've done all our other cars and we trust them. That, and my father is going to have his Camry's window tinted at the same time, so we'll have leverage to talk the guy into a multi-car discount.

Yeah, I think the Silver will do me just fine. I also considered white, black, and slate. We already have white and grey(ish) colored cars, so those colors were eliminated. Living here in dirty, windy Cheyenne, I decided that black would be too hard to keep clean (or even clean looking!).

I can't remember the %, but I'll be getting the darkest tint allowable by law in Wyoming. I thought about dropping down to Colorado and getting one level darker, but I'm afraid the local cops would hassle me.
