Hey guys Im wanting to get the Work CR rims from Enjuku, but Ive never put any rims on any of my car, so Im a newb to offset and what width I can go on with a S14.

http://enjukuracing.com/work-e....html

Those are the ones Im talking about.

First, what offset should I get for front/rear.

And also what width for front/rear.

Id like to have it look like this Kouki:

Note: I will not be using this car for drifting. And it will be lowered on Stance GR+ Pro Coilovers.

17's in the front and 18's in the back looks retarded.

18's will look nice but the only width's they offer are 8.5" +25 or 9.5" +20.

I have 9" +15 on the fronts of my S14, the wheel sticks out past the fender and requires me to run stretch tires to make the wheel tuck when the coilovers compress.

Now 9.5 is too wide and if you try and compensate for that with offset then the wheel will rub the coilover or strut (which ever you have). 8.5 is a good width but the lowest offset is +25 which won't give the most flushness possible.

I suggest going with 17x9's +17 all around.

For tires I would run 225/45's all around as well

And to the guy who said 18x9.5's w/+12 all around....pshhh only if he is running wide body, those wheels are wayyyy to wide for stock fenders.

Take my pic and push the wheel out past the fender another 15mm.

So with 17x9's with 17 offset all around, with 245/40 tires, I wont have any fitment issues whatsoever?

No, with those WHEEL sizes you won't have fitment issues but you might have to step down to a 235 tire.

If you look in my pic I run 235/45 on a 17x9 +15. Your wheel fitment will look just like mine only the wheel will be pushed in by 2mm. I "think" a 245 might be to wide (depending on how low you want to go).

Welall Ive ever run in my cars is 225, and I think it looks like pizza cutter peices of ****.

All I want is to be able to drop the car to where the tire meets the fender, NOT TUCKING, and run atleat a 245 all around.

Im just a complete newb to all this wheel ****.

Plus Im doing an RB25 swap with a GT35R, so pizza cutter 225's are outta the question.

So what im trying to get down to, is, is it possible to run work CR's, 17x9's, with a 245 tire, without rubbing or fitment issues. And I am willing to sacrifice some ride height, to fit a 245 tire.

Well the S14 in this pic ^, I don't know if the wheels are the same width but I can tell you that the tires AREN'T. You can run 245's in the rear with a little fender roll but if you plan on having the tire meet the fender you won't be able to run 245's up front unless you roll the front fenders slightly. Hell my 235's still rub on extreme cornering when I'm running the downhill.

The best way to end this is just get the wheels, get the tires you want which I'm guessing is 245/40's? Put them on the car, install the coilovers, and then go make some really hard turns and see how much give your suspension has. Bottom line the wheel sizes I recommended will fit fine and look awesome, tires sizes will come down to your preference and degree of compromise you are willing to give.

Exactly my thought. Through my research ive been thinking of doing 245/40 out back, adn 225/40 up front, itll stretch a little, but nothing i cant handle.

I emailed the owner of the above 240. He ahd previous post looking for info on 17x9's with 17 offset. So im guessing that is the set up he has in the picture. Ill post when i get a reply from him.

Id go with 235/40's it will keep you closer to overall diameter so as not to throw off the speedo, also it will allow you to keep the sidewall heights the same, with a 225 F and a 245 R your back tires will look real beefy and the fronts will look skinny and IMO that looks kind of goofy. Finally it will allow you to lower your car without any interference issues with the fenders...

If an s13 can do it, then it should be cake for an s14. I mean, youre dishing money on fancy wheels, why not get a snug fit?

http://www.geocities.com/masashi.geo/s14aljd2.jpg

fronts: 17x9 +17 with 225/45/17, and rear: 17x9 +28 with 255/40/17.

OP: If you're willing to roll your front fenders, you can fit much wider tires in the front. I'm running the same wheel setup as ddgsxr504, at about the same ride height (1.5 finger gap), but with 255/40-17s up front.

Rolling the front fenders is extremely easy too. The metal is so thin you can practically do it with your hands.

If I were you, I'd go 17x9 +17 with 255/40-17s all the way around. If you're going with the RB swap, I'd think you want as much traction all the way around as possible. Plus it'll give that nice beefy look that I think you mentioned you liked.

Just something to think about.

225 vs a 255, your sidewall heights will be way off and look retarded, at least go with 235/45 up front. Also why run a higher offset in the rear when you have more room to play with?

Whatever post pics when you get them installed.
