Alright, i am most likely going to purchase a modified 240sx. I will give all the info on the mods and all of that info, but first i have a few questions. First of all, what will i need on top of the mods already done to make abt 300-350whp w/out running any risks, and the car still being a very reliable car, i will most likely be wanting to run in the low 300whp range. Second, from what i understand, the 240 tops out at 115, i will be autocrossing some with this car and would be able to get the limiter removed, but i was curious b/c from what i've heard, the engine has problems in the 150mph range, and i was wondering what mods needed to be done in order to not have a problem w/ blowing the heads, or overheating the engine, detonating the turbo, or anything like that. No flaming, and all help is appreciated. Here is the car as it stands.

1995 Nissan 240SX (Base Model)-White/Grey-200k on chassis/3k on rebuilt SR20DET-60k on jdm transmission (harnessed in w/ ka harness, limiting the car to 115mph)-Great condition!

I dont know if the stock T28 is good for over 300 hp... Thats more for gt2871r and such...

Since you have all the bolt on stuff, get bigger injectors (and possibly Walbro fuel pump.. cheap mod + easy insurance) then you have two options...

get a tuned ECU like Enthalpy ORget a wideband and tune with your SAFC and get rid of your disco light (narrowband A/F gauge)

Personally Id go with Enthalpy tune... with a 2871r

stock turbo is t25, so the T28 is the upgraded, i've heard it can support up to like 16-17psi and is capable of up to abt 400whp, but then again i may be wrong. But i do know that the T28 is supposed to be able to support well over 300whp. But will getting those mods get me to abt 150mph w/out having anything blow up? lol.

I believe the most horsepower anyone squeezed out of a t28 turbo was 320 whp.

150 mph in autocrossing? Never heard of anyone reaching up to that speed in autocross. You're most likely safe with the 115 mph limit for autocrossing. Maybe road racing is what you're talking about with long straight aways?

well, looking to do both actually, but i will most likely be doing road racing a bit more. I had actually thought that the T28 was capable of more, but i guess not. Would it be better to just go with the gt2871r in that case? I don't want to be having to boost high all the time in order to reach 320. 320whp is about perfect for me right now. So any ideas on how to make that kind of horsepower, while being able to hit 150mph road racing?

check my tagline. i am still installing these parts, so i can not comment on how they work yet, (have to install my cams, make a 3" intake still waiting on deatschwerk to ship my injectors) the only thing that may not apply to you would be the 4.4 rear end. But then again, I am not really sure how much this will decrease my top speed. (on that note, anyone have any idea?)

How long is the straightaway for road racing. Also 320whp on a S15 T28 I don't see it lasting long. Maybe a little longer on a GT2871R but after a good season of road racing I see a trashed ball bearing turbo. I would upgrage to a T3 like a GT30 or something a bit better then a small T28. Also I would think the last problem you want to think about. I would be thinking about cooling your turboed power car a little more. There are probabably easily more then a hand full of thing more important then hitting 150mph on a straightaway like brakes, suspension, etc. Also more hp = more heat.

I haven't heard much on how to cool the engine. Could u explain ways to go about doing this? Also, i already have plans for the brakes, suspension, wheels, tires etc...
