Yeah talking bout the sidebar.

When I'm in a thread I can use them all. When I go back to the subforum I can't use them all.

Maybe its just me, I now know to navigate from inside threads if I can't get it in the sub.

Fixed.

By the way, for you young-un's, the post that was messed up was by Tangalora. She was one of the finest DIY learners and members that NICO has ever had. She made it a point of doing her homework when working on her car and posted lengthy, picture-filled, detailed posts on how she did things.

Read her wonderful posts to learn "how it should be done". :yesnod

Unfortunately, Tangalora has not posted here at NICO in many years now. There is a belief that, due to a terminal health issue, she is now resting in peace in Heaven. But us old-timers are not sure of that (if anyone ever hears from her, please let us know).

She will be missed. :(

Does anyone else have an issue with all the posts in a thread coming up?

I just opened up Papasmurf's ramp thread, which says there are 25 posts, but I can only see 13 of them...this happens to me in a lot of threads too.

EDIT: I'm a moron. It's just a thread control feature. My bad.

The Multimedia Forum link on the top link bar takes you to a page that say "This forum does not exist" or something to that extent, then whne you try to click on any of the User CP links (PM's, log out, view your post etc...) those links no longer work. haven't tried to see if any of the sidebar links work or not.

MM forum is gone. Link will be removed at some point.

I have no idea what you people are doing to break things. I have no issues with any links when using either FF nor IE regardless of what post, thread or forum I'm in. :gotme

Why did you get rid of the Multimedia section? Practically every car board in the world has a MM section for video's.

Becuse we'll be incorporating embedded video (plus, it was one of our most underused forums).

Dates seem screwy. My birthday in my profile is correct but my age is off by 1 (I'm 18 but listed as 19). And I also noticed the sidebar not working perfectly when I'm in a forum (works fine in threads though). When I'm in Z32gen, the links from Leaf-Sports Bar don't work.

Remember how we used to be able to click on the name of the last poster in the thread and it would take you to the final post? Think it is possible to get that back?

Ryan, circled in red is a link that will take you to your first unread post in the thread. Circled in green is a link that will take you to the last post of that thread. Sorry my circles are mental, that was a quick job.

Just a thought- could we add a search feature that allows us to look for members based on geographical location?

Not sure if this has been covered yet, but half the time I reply, my post is not posted and the text is gone. Seems to be the same if I use quick reply or the normal reply. It happens on my XP desktop and Vista laptop both running firefox 3.6

I found more topics that look like that and some are even made by me. So does that mean you guys (NICO staff) have to go through all the topics and fix them?

I'm tempted and I may. Hell, I'd have probably already removed the link if it didn't cause other issues.
