i haven't checked this thread in a while, so if this has been posted, just disregard it. when you're on a main subforum page, some of the links (the ones on the right side of the page) to the other subforums aren't links, just text. the ones that i saw like this are under the datsun pickups heading, and the general forums heading.

I can't figure out how to see the threads that I've posted in.
Previously it was User CP --> watched topics --> thread

I've only figured out how to see my posts which isn't quite what I'm looking for. I'd trying to avoid going through each forum/section that I've posted in 1 or two threads in order to read a response.

As I understand it, this is a phpbb forum, so tapatalk support would be bitchin. http://www.tapatalk.com/en/plugin
Then I could more effeciently waste time here when I'm on the go

I also miss the pancake bunny.
Yeah I clicked that link and I have no idea what it does. I can already post on here from my iPod Touch via Safari, so I'm confused. Is this an actual app that you can access, if so that would rock and I would get absolutely nothing done.

It's an app for most smart phones with both a free and paid version that makes posting on forums really easy. It basically presents the threads in a native layout designed for hand-held devices. That way you don't have to deal with zooming and resizing the pages to do everything, since it just gives you a direct interface for posting and reading.

Can someone post that up in Gen Chat as a separate thread? (Something directed at people with smart phones)...

I can't really explain how it's not zooming the way it used too but it's like instead of zooming in and still have everything to current spec and in the same place, it just rearranges everything to fit it into the new frame you give it. (sorry for the reiteration)

I have run in to the same problem! I hate it. The problem appears to be that the right side bar is pinned to the edge of the browser. It used to be floating.

This isn't major, but their are two Eeek smiley's...on is spelled Eeek and one is spelled Eek.

Maybe replace it with the licking the lips one?? It just seems stupid to have two of the same ones on the main smiley thing.

Good catch.

I'm thinking I'd like to add back all our old ones. If you guys can find the files for all of them, as well as their original code, I think we can add them back in.

It was fine last night but this started happening this morning.

This happens on Firefox, doesn't happen in Internet Explorer. :ohno:
I am having the same problem...but from Datsun to Others and all Datsun Pickup links. It's also only FF for me.

Come on eikon... I know it's not a problem, but rather a suggested feature

Seriously though, I have noticed that some links in threads don't open in a new window/tab. They take over the window/tab that you're currently in.

Example, the link in the OP's post takes over my current tab in both Firefox and IE:
simpsons-intro-kesha-tik-tok-have-you-s ... 92029.html

Compare this to the link in your sig. That opens a new tab.

*edit* Hell, the link to that thread takes over my current tab too!!!

Just gonna mention it, asd a bump, but 720 link didn't exist from side bar.

Just gonna see what other datsun pickup links do real quick.

Gen chat ... good
Classifieds ... good
320 ... good
520/521 ... good
620 ... good
720 ... doesn't exist. header "information"

Drop down car specific sites. Old datsun pick up lovers is still on it.

but can get there still from main page of the links.

Not quite sure of this but it seems, when in a thread I can access the ODPL part of the site but not if I am in Gen chat or 240sx Gen chat subforum. So if I enter a thread I can use the links but not in the main subforum.

Maybe check that.

Which links are you talking about? The ones on the right? If so, they seem to work for me everywhere and they are all pulled from a single file on the server anyway.

There's no way to fix old pics that were linked, unless the OP wants to go in and edit / re-post the pics. It was a sacrifice we had to make in order to get the rest of the board functions operating properly.

Are you guys going to keep the two links to the search engine (Big flashing "Search") and smaller search box with the advance search hidden till highlighted over?

You should just keep the big flashing search and get rid of the other one.

Let's not create work for no good reason.

Functionality issues first, please.

when in gen chat, the first one to stop working is "rogue" forum, and the first one to start working again is the "around the house" forum.
