i got my car inspected and they found that each of the mufflers have holes in them so i have to get them replaced if i am to pass so i have called all the shops around here and of course none have performance mufflers and the ones that they can aquire cost about 280ish dollars plus labor so im lookin at around 700 dollars for effen mufflers now all the "mufflers" i find on ebay are around 50 bucks for the 300 so i ask you guys this what did you put on yours and how much did it cost? the law here is must not be louder than stock, now im know you can argue that one a bit but would 1 of these work on each side of the car? haha i know im a total newb to imports im from a buick family. so be kind.

if the mufflers has holes in them the pipes won't be far behind, you can buy performance name brand cat back systems for $500-1000 and they are 50 state legaland they are a bolt on so you can do the work yourself

I don't understand that law but the hks hiper is a great exhaust for the money but is alot louder than you want. The best quite muffler systems would be a B & B or borla. After those I would look into a greddy. The greddy has a nice smooth idle and an aggressive but not to loud note when you get on it. I like the hks best myself but it will be way to loud.Good Luck!!!

what it is, is there is a certain decible limit that you have to stay within to be able to pass inspection. gay as hell, i mean how am i supposed to know if this kit will be over or under unless i buy it and install it. so this boral its about stock loudness i dont want that crappy rice sound i like the stock throaty sound. or maybe thats from the hole i like the look of the borla and for 854 and 25 bucks for 2day shippin this is lookin better than going with the stock replacements. OH AND WHERE CAN I FIND THE STOCK FRONT LEFT RIM? mine is out of round and kinda shakes the steering wheel. the 225/50/16

Most manufacturers will give you the db level of the exhaust. Greddy has there db levels posted. But the B & B and the Borla are good and throaty when you get on them.

try to get something stainless that will last. You pay for quality butsometimes it is needed. Aluminized will rust out on you quick and not last as long as stainless steel.

Custom stainless manifolds back with x pipe (no cats, no resonators) out through APEXi Dunks...hotness. Without a doubt get an X-Pipe..H-Pipe is okay, but doesn't flow half as good or sound as awesome. The VG has an uneven firing order...the X-Pipe blends the tones...sounds almost like an inline 6. The cost, well...about $150 for each muffler and whatever the piping cost raw, we built it ourselves.
