hey guys i picked up a 95 se-r with a blown motor, my question is if i can use a JDM SR20DE from a 90-94 or 95-99. i know about the low/high port, i just want to know if i can use the 90-94 without having to do modifications. thanx

The ECU and wiring harness are different b/w 90-94 and 95, so you'd need to get a USDM 90-94 harness.

It'd be simpler with a 95+ motor, but yes, you can use a 90-94.

You can use the highport motor, 91-94. We put a highport motor in a p10 g20 that originally came with a lowport motor. You only need to extend the knock sensor wire. Everything else plugs up just as it would normally.

I didn't realize it was that simple. I'm surprised.

Yay for Nissan not complicating a good formula.
