15w-50 mobil one synthetic....................next up is royal purple tho if the mobil doesnt get cheaper...........

so is royal purple ok to use on a ka24e and 20w50 so also good for the motor too, why is that? is there going to be anything that will go wrong if i use one of those motor oil

I run 5w 30 penzoil full synt. i mean it seyz right on the car to use either 10w 30 or 5w 30.

155,000 + miles and runs good.

I'm looking at my FSM here and it recommends 5w-30 for 'all ambient temperatures' and it recommends 10w-30 and 10w-40 as secondary choices, and it states that 20w50 and 20w40 should only be used if the lowest ambient temp for *all* seasons is above 50 degrees.

quaker state ??...umm noo even if it is synthetic dont use that crap .....penzoil is too thick so do ur choice of CASTROL , VALVOLINE, MOBILE ONE , ROYAL PURPLE........i use castrol 10w-40 but iam goin to start using royal purple PURPLE!!!
