Getting a 3.5se MT on Wed...The first mod i want to do is put in HIDs, next I want to put in some leather apolstery(sp?)... next some rims, and a Cold Air Intake

What will void out the warrantees?? I doubt the leather would, but you know how those stealerships are, they will find out some way around it...If i make mods and when i go in for maintenance put the stock parts back in is that way around it...

What color HIDs will go with a dark slate anyway??

First Off, Congrats on the new Coupe! You'll have a lot of fun with it.

For your question of what will void the warranty, none of them will void it. The Magnuson Moss Act states that the manufacturer MUST prove that the modification done had a DIRECT cause of the part in question to fail.

This doesn't mean that you should install a supercharger on the 3.5 and expect the CVT to handle the additional torque...cause it wont. But for the mods that you listed, you should be safe.

Not really..

10K will give it a purple glow. Regular halogens burn at 4K. if you get a HID that is 6K it'll be white and more closer to real sunlight. 8K has a real nice blue glow to them although it will not be as bright as a 6K.

Check out http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/ for really good info on HIDs.

Also HIDs that burn at a higher Kelvin temp have the possibility of actually melting the light housing . Not good since the light housings are like 1K each

Correct!! Intake/Exhaust etc, will not void the warranty unless the mod is PROVEN to be the reason for malfunction...

Still no Cold air intakes for us yet and not likely to be any because of teh minimal space under the hood...

Yah congrats on the new coupe, hopefully you won't be making trips back and forth to the dealership and you'll actually have time to enjoy the car with out it giving stupid effin problems.
