I have been debatiing mods to install before I one day go to FI.

1. Strup Headers - $795

2. Strup Test Pipes - $300

3. Cobb Access Tuning - $695

Though my G is a 2007 Coupe, Cobb Access limits years of product to use it in, to 2003 - 2006 G-35 Coupes. Is the ECU different in 2007 G-35 Coupes than the 2005 and 2006 Coupes? I doubt this, but any input will help.

So, which mod or mods to install, that will give some reasonable ganis like 10 - 15 horses and perhaps 10 - 15 lb/foot of torque?

The ECU is definitely different.

You should give them a call and ask them if they are still working on the tuner for the 2007+

If you go turbo wouldn't the headers be useless?

Just got a call from Cobb tuning. Yes, the ECU for the 2007 g-35 Coupe is somewhat different from the ECU of the 2005 and 2006 G-35 Coupes. They are working on the Cobb tuning for the 2007 G-35 Coupe

Maybe not, depending on the level of the tuning. However, I think the supercharger is the way I will ultimately go (Vortech). Got word from a service manager that it appears Infiniti is okay with the Vortechs just as they are with the Stillen supercharger systems. No word yet on their take on Turbos on our engines.

Wow your Infiniti is nice, my service manager said any breathing mods save for average intake, headers, exhaust and that jazz will void my warranty.....sticks in the mud

Seems like Vortech is the way to go for a "safer" tune.

P.S. Jacko I'll have to come down and stalk you and try to find out your secret track

The secret track stays secret

Oh, by the way, the other day, a moving cop was radaring me on the other side of the track while I was flogging my car around a curve. I wanted to slow down but I decided to continue the flogging . I thought he would turn around and come after me.

I drove into one of the parking spaces in one of the hotels/office buildings around the area and shut down my car for about 10 minutes. I think the cop was waiting for me to come back on my return trip. When I eventually went back, I was driving like a grandma, and he was on his way back as well, while gazing at me with suspicion. I think he suspected I was having fun . Anyway, the super motorbikes have fun all evening on weekends on the same secret track. Every now and then we go at it---many are impressed with the G. Thanks you Nissan.
