What model truck do i have?

I know its a 85 720 short bed short cab 2wd..

but i need to know what engine it has, its carburated, and i need to know what transmission it has.

does anyone out there know by seein the truck what its got? it says Z on the engine.

its a 5 speed.

use tinypic to get a img code to put it in the forum. u should have several stickers on the vehicle to tell u what size engine and trans. because it varies through the years. try the under hood sticker and door jam sticker. also the engine block numbers will tell u what kinda engine u got.

should be a Z24 engine... pretty sure they all were that year!

Looks to me like you have an exact same model as my second one....I have an 86 Cali bed model and an 83 japan bed model....
If your reverse lights are in the roll pan then it's an 83' standard model with a 2.4 liter z24 motor...look under the truck or the center console if the center console is long/ short it'll tell you if the trans is long or short, or if looking underneath the back of the trans from shifter to driveshaft flange is long or short should tell you...although 4wd are shorties due to the transfer case and 2wd are naturally long...I believe it's a r180 or c200 trans
