I have a 95' 240sx, its a DD, automatic. I'm trying to figure out what I should do next in terms of mods on my car.

I've got the coilovers (megans). Now I'm thinking wheels. I can't figure out if I should swap 5-lugs or keep the 4-lugs and buy some P45Rs. 5-lug will cost me $550 round figure, and the P45R I can probably get for $1200 including tires.

Future plans after the wheels:- kouki skirts, silvia grill- 300zx brakes- exhaust- no 5-speed because I plan SR/RB in a year or two

I would go for the suspension links next. tension rods, rear upper control arms, traction links, and toe links. upgrade your tie rods as well. then go for the brakes and wheel. you don't have to go 5 lug.

I don't see the point in going 5 lug if you're just getting P45R's which have good 4 lug sizes...

yeah, if I stay 4-lug then im going with those. thats why i'm looking at the options and seeing if 5-lug is worth it or not.

Or just sell your car and purchase a 180sx/Silvia. You live in BC! They can't be that much there. I just found a R32 for 8500. http://vancouver.en.craigslist....html

I wish the US allowed such awsomeness

Is the car going to remain a DD? if so, skip the Z brakes until later (so you can get to that SR/RB swap sooner). They look marginally better than stock brakes but have limited purpose unless you intend to do track events and need to haul your car down from 100mph repeatedly in short time periods. Bigger brakes have larger heat capacity for more sustained braking, not necessarily shorter braking distances.

Skip body kit stuff unless you intend to paint the car, otherwise it looks like crap (at least to other people).

5-lug with some decent wheels and exhaust (combined with the coilovers you have), and your car will look and sound pretty decent. After that you're ready to put in your engine of choice.
