What Management do you suggest, since I'm always running Lean.

I have a 95 240SX w/ S13 BlackTop. I have a bunch of bolt-on's such as: Greddy Turbo Elbow, DownPipe, Full 3" Exhaust, M-spec Intercooler, HotPipe w/ RS-BOV, ER Intake Pipe w/ Apexi Intake and a crappy Megan Manifold. I recently purchased a Walbro fuel pump because after I installed an Innovate LM-1, I was reading 15:1 when I was boosting w/ hesistation. When the car is just cruising around I'm reading 14.7-14.3:1, which should be good. I'm only running 7 psi and sometimes less. My spark plugs (BKR7E gapped @ .35) look White and light Brown.

My problem is after I install the Walbro, I believe I'm going to continue to run a little lean. I want to run about 12psi on the T25 and install a Greddy Intake Manifold. I know I should get 555cc Injectors but what management should I run? A local shop runs Haltech on all their cars, and they are retarded fast. They suggested Haltech which would remove a lot of the sensors throughtout the car (MAF, and others) and add a MAP sensor and individual Corvette Coil-Packs w/ MSD wires. I've seen that setup on an S15 and it looks clean and runs great. The price is going to kill me. $1500 for Haltech and accesories and $700 for the install and tune. Should I get this setup or what do you guys suggest for a cost-effective management system?

I would honestly just go with a jwt tune or an enthalpy tune. They are very good. Power FC's are very good too but after having them fined tune thats gonna be way more cost than an enthalpy tune or jwt tune (which are very good even if they are mail orders) if you are worried about coilpacks i would just get some splitfires. you can find them for cheap.

Your getting really ahead of yourself. Put the Walbro in and an Adjustable FPR and recheck the AFR. Adjust Fuel Pressure between 40psi and 50psi (w/o vacuum) till your AFR reads mostly in the 11's @ WOT. Get your motor running solid before trying to upgrade anything major. Also you call that Megan Manifold crappy, its the same design as everything else thats equal length. Reason you probably dont feel any gains is because its meant for high rpm flow which the T25 doesnt give whatsoever. I gained 20-25whp on my 2871R setup by using the Megan Manifold. Same goes for upgrading to Greddy Manifold. Will hurt more than help. T25 wont flow the air at high rpm so youll end up loosing low-midrange tq and not gaining any hp. Also gap your plugs to .030". Between boost and lean conditions, thatll blow the spark out.

Alright Prodigy, your suggestion sounds good. I'm going to the City of Industry on Sunday and I'll pick up a Nismo AFR, fuel gauge and filter. Hopefully these upgrades will correct the issue. Thanks for your help.
