I have 16" konig monsoons with 205/55/16 kumho 712s, and boy does it look UGLY. I dont get it- is it the rim design, tire appearance, or just rim size that makes it look bad?? I look at the s14 5 spoke rims and they look fine with 205/55/16 tires. I like the fat tire- not too big rim look, but for some reason it's just not working with my wheel/tire combo.

What do YOU guys think makes a wheel look good? small lip? deep lip? wide spoke? narrow spoke?

Clean, simple, basic 5 or 6 spoke wheels will never go out of style. IMO, the trend is going towards the darker, not so flashy style, which I think is great as this allows people more choices to buy useful wheel/tire sizes that are sensible for the street(not big bling that rubs the fender).

Whatever catches your eye, also catches the eye of thieves.

Form should follow function, so get some stock alloys and maintain your car's stealth-mode. There's no need to attract unwanted attention to your car.

wow, I sound upset, sorry. Looks are subjective, I like the clean stealthy appearcance of wheels/cars that generally go unnoticed by rice and thieves.

I like all sorts of wheels, as long as it matches the cars lines and its "attitude" etc...

its very subjective, a bad-*** wheel can look hideous on one car, and super sweet on another, take any mustang with the 7-spoke wheels on them..looks horrible, but on other cars, it looks nice.-chet

if it doesnt keep spinin' when the car stops, it doenst belong on a 240 :D

i think 5 spoke, deep dish, 16-17 inch very wide wheels look sexy on just about any car. They are blingin' in that performance way.
