Not an exhaustive list, but some of the things that should be done:
- Spark plugs. Use OEM equipment (NGK Iridium). No real need to change the coils, unless something is wrong, of course.
- Coolant. I believe the original fluid is meant to be changed every four years. If it hasn't been changed in the last eight years, the rust protection in the fluid is long gone and you may have rust inside the radiator. In that case, a simple drain-and-refill might be as much as you want to do... taking it into a garage for a coolant flush might just introduce problems.
- Air filter. If that hasn't been changed since 01, it's going to look *nasty*.
- Fuel filter, if there is significant hesitation when the gas pedal is pressed (or worse yet, you can't even get up to the desired speed).
- Differential fluid, front and back. Should be changed every two years.
- transmission case and transmission fluid should be changed every two years if you're doing a lot of towing or offroading. I change it every two years regardless.
- Propeller shaft should be lubed every year. Front wheel bearing grease should be re-applied every couple years.
