The s13 rb20. I know we dont need a different driveshaft but thats for the KA. If i get a skyline or j30 lsd will that work with the ka stock driveshaft and RB20?

I think I remember hearing that the RB20 is a slightly tighter fit with the driveshaft than the KA is, so it might become a problem if you install an LSD with an ABS sensor such as the J30 diff. Anyone with an RB20 want to confirm or deny this?

I used the R32 crossmember to mount my RB20DET in my S13. I also sourced a KA manual driveshaft (mine was auto). My RB clip came with the whole rear end assembly, so I put the R32 diff on my S13. It will bolt right up, except the KA axles are 6 bolt and the R32 axles/diff are 5 bolt. Since I had the whole rear end, I just put the R32 axles into my S13 along with the R32 diff. The S13 manual driveshaft bolted up to this setup with 0 problems.

I should also add the HCR32 diff is a 4.3x (4.32 or 4.36 I think), while the stock S13 is I believe 4.08. So, it will increase your acceleration some, lower your top speed, and make your speedo display a bit faster than you're actually going.
