Well I'm not that far into drifting so I'm not to the place to get a LSD. But I want to start saving for one. So, I want a LSD for Daily Driving and for Drifting. What one should I get? What one will give me the best performance for the price and last along time? 1.5 way or 2 way? I'm guessing 1.5 way.

Also the Drift King in the Drift Bible talks about overhauling the LSD. What all do you do and what all is needed when overhauling a LSD? Does that just mean changing the fluid or what?

I did search but the search isn't working for somereason.

the NISMO LSD is much more streetable than a KAAZ because of its quiet operation. its good in both scenarios, but a KAAZ is a little more louder and more superior on the track.

http://www.phase2motortrend.com you can look here to see more of the two.

I dont think I'd be able to hear the KAAZ over my exhaust right now lol. I dont really care about how quite it is or isn't. I just want the best street/drift LSD.

Does anyone know more about the ATS LSD, I hear people like it but that is all i hear. Does it lock quick and strong? Is it loud rough on the driver?

the ATS' are the harshest on the market.

i would highly advise against it if the car is street driven.

the lock hard, are loud, but work amazingly well.

yes ALOT harsher.

its a street car, you dont need anything that hardcore. a kaaz will be more than adequate.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a KAAZ. I've looked into the ATS but the higher price is something I dont want to do nor can do. But I think for what I need the KAAZ should do when the time comes for it. So I get a 1.5 or 2 way?

I have the Kaaz, and I've been daily driving it for 5 or 6 months now. Aside from the paparakataka in some tight corners, it's perfectly tolerable on the street. The performance it gives you when you're drifting and having fun far outweighs a little clunking, especially if you have a loud exhaust like I do. The first time I went out after I installed it, I turned donuts so easy, I was grinning for a couple days.

get the 2 way for drifting, which means the diff will lock on both acceleration and decleration.
