what lsd fluid?

i have a tomei 2-way lsd i was wondering what is the correct lsd fluid other than the tomei fluid.

i would contact tomei, but i use redline 75w90 gear oil. its good for viscous lsds, im not sure what the tomei uses...sorry.

i am not abusive to my car and it is a daily car. what would be better between 75w90 and 75w145. and i know they have clutches in them. i know not to use synthetic with clutches and i know i need friction modifier. any suggestions on that?

90, never heard of not using syn with clutch type diffs. I've never had any problems with mine using motul 90pa or redline 75w-145

i would NOT use a friction modifier. i put some in my diff when i last changed the oil and it made the popping worse. it may work for some clutch diffs, but the tomei's don't like it at all. i'd just use regular ol 75w-90 or 80w-90 if you can find it as that is what the original tomei oil was.

kaaz specifically states NOT to use any synthetic in their clutch differentials.

you need to find a tomei manual or contact them. i think the tomei's are ok with syn but im not sure. better to be safe than sorry.

I remember tomei is made by kaaz but please contact them to find out for sure
