but i think the thread starter is talkin about a license plate. i like both. i wanna do the hinged thing.

Personally, I like the look of the offset license plate. Especially if there is a nice, gigantic front-mount intercooler peeking out from the bumber. :D

I like it on fcs...but since mine came with a centered liscence plate holder, It'd look dumb off center...

The hinged look is good. Japs use it for when they are racing. It actually foldS back so the cameras dont see the license plate while they are racing. Other than that. It just looks good I guess.

it sucks that you guys actually get in trouble for no liscence plate. i have a few warnings, but not an actual ticket. is this in california?

mwhahahaah, I only have to have one plate...

think I'd stick it in the center unless you've got an IC or really want that much more airflow to the radiator.

Oh, and here's a pic of this cool thing I found on TakaKaira. (I <3 TakaKaira :)) It's designed to flip up at 80 KM/H (about 50 MPH) allowing for unrestricted airflow...
