So I have been runnning PIAA "Xtreme White" headlights for about a year now, and one of them just died on me. Thankfully I saved my old headlights (one of which still works), so now I have 1 yellow and 1 white headlight. Though this is very cool, I would really like to have 2 matching headlights that work, so I figured I'd see if anyone has had better luck with any other bulbs or if I should just grad some more PIAA's for $60. I have a '96 s14, so I'm just looking for standard H4 bulbs, preferrably white in color

I use the silverstars (sylvania). They are decent and of a nice white, but not super bright, or super white. Better than your average bulb though and they have lasted forever.

I looked on the Osram/Sylvania website and it said there should be headlights at Kragen or Pep Boys nearby. Anyone know if I'll have luck there or if I'm better off ordering online? I'm not decided on the bulbs yet, but so far there seems to be some good support of them.

Get these.

They sell the Silverstars at most auto part stores for about 20 bucks a bulb. They were a nice decent white and lit up the road good enough, but these so far have been better. They are brigther and light up the road farther. They're Nokya's by the way.

I also use the silverstars on my '93, I don't have any complaints.

I use silverstars as well, not as intense as the Piaa Extremes i had before, but they last longer. Other good headlight bulbs are Catz and Raybrig too (they make bitchin' fog lamps as well)

Yellow only looks really good in projectors, like the OEM Zenki fog lights

Yeah man, the osrams give out more light than you would beleive. The other great thing is that 2 only cost me $25 in EBAy, while Sylania Silverstars caost $40 per pair.

The only thing Sylvanias got going over the Osrams is that they have a blue tint, ala HID look. But, that blue tint that they put on the bulbs also reduce the amout of light that hits the road.

Read this. Some great info there. This is what motivated me to get the OSram bulbs.

Are the Osrams white or yellowish? I have the PIAA lights in my winkers still, so it'd look weird if I went yellow and white. Unless someone comes up with a good reason not to, I think I'm picking up some Osram's soon.

Osram Silverstars are whiter then stock, but do not have the blue tint that the Sylvania Silverstars have.

Blue tint isn't really important... I just don't want sunflower yellow headlights
