Honestly, I would use the provided plate.

Little things such as personalized plates DO attract attention. Sometimes, many times, it's the wrong kind of attention.(theft/vandal)

I think TURBOSX is OK, but announcing what you have under the hood is risky, no matter where you live...

I dunno how norcal is but here in atlanta the cars that are swapped get preyed on quite a bit. It has come to the point where kids have stopped using the importatlanta forums because thiefs were going there to find out who had what in their cars and what area they lived in. Those license plates only give thiefs the exact information they want to know...

I realize that having a license plate like that is fun and badass... but I guess it all depends on where you live and what places you drive to regarding the risk of your car being stolen.

Actually, 1FST180 matches California plates to the T, so to speak. The format is #LLL### (#=number, L=letter). I told him to go for that one cause he knows it means something, but it's not too obvious.

quik, you are kidding yourself if you think you live in the good part of town. also dont get personalized plates, they are beyond ghey. i would also have to agree with swift, you are my friend but it does sound pretty lame that you said its tight to have an sr, and you askin if he does implying that it is some uber rare thing that only the cool guys get is just kinda weak. stick to your normal plates and keep your car unmessed with.

Swift is a good fella with a seriously trick car(he can fill you in on the spec if he sees fit). I also doubt you would talk smack if you were standing in front of him.

If may be tight to you to have an SR, but seriously, why the need to announce it? Just blast by people who think your car is slow, and be happy with that. Discretion speaks volumes.
