i just plan on getting some 17" drag radials. considering MT streets or maybe bfg comps. no traction bars. im only hoping for 400whp and 11's for my setup. im pretty sure u can get 10's with nice DR's also. lots of people do. i see a lot of mustang guys do itilovesideways wrote:

All good points. I believe a very responsive SR with a wide torque and hp curve (not peaky) will be able to get close... Gearing plays a huge part in ET's as well. Someone with a 4.3:1 rearend will run a lower ET than someone with the same power and a 4.1:1 rearend.cnichols wrote:

V8 or bigger inline 6 engines will make more power under the curve and can do it with less than 500 wheel, but like you said, traction will make or break the ET.
