OE means original equipment. An OE LSD is the one that came on some cars (the models with HICAS I think). If you ask me, the best way to go is the Nismo. I think it runs as low as $700. If you really want to nitpick types though its a matter of what you want and how you drive. The same LSD isn't good for everyone.

nismo's are much more streetable. i've checked out some tomei lsd's before and they're awesome but pricey. kaaz are kind of loud for the street.

Personally for daily driving and autocross, I would look into either a 1.5 clutch type differential or a Helical differential.

If you use the car for daily driving i would just get a Nissan VLSD..I have one on my car and its perfect for daily driving and great for track days to.

My specV had a helical and it was fine for DD too.

But helicals are not cheap, I think the quaife one is about 1400.00.

I loved the one in my V, it just a matter of price (which is why my 240 doesnt have one).

And from what I have read helicals are one of the better units suited for autoX, but that is only what I have read baised on other peoples opnion, but I know mine would engage wicked fast, but not jerky.

But for the price I would proably go VSLD as well.
