hrmm... yeah it is the grille off a new gloria... The angle on the headlights is probalby different now that I look at it more closely on the older ones...

Well see when they come in like you said... This is why this is fun :D

Sorry Larry, but Im not feeling that at all with just the M45. I would rather just have the Infiniti logo center mass, but I think lowering the M45 logo to be level with the trunk trim or just removing it all together would look nicer.Cheers

I'll live the M45 for a couple of days before I remove or move it. I'm thinking about though.

You don't want black, it's a lot of work. My next car will anything but black. My last one was white, a lot less work to keep it looking good.

Thanks

This sounded like a good idea, but it sorta robs the style of the car, but this is just my opinion.

if you are curious, those are 350Z rims on a q45

The inside of the J-spec headlights are more "up and down" while the US lights have more of an angle. Also, the shape of the bumpers are totally different due to the US crash guard. Notice the US spec bumper has a "beak" in the center while the J-spec bumper is more flat in the center. The J-spec grill will not fit without swapping the headlights and bumper or altering the grill.

yeah, I am noticing that more when I look closely at pictures... Any grille for earlier Gloria / Cedric is not going to work... but there is an accessory grille for the newer ones that will... I hope...

ok good, I am not that dumb...

I only ordered the grilles for the later model GLORIA which shares the similar headlights as the US M45...

I ordered the ones for the NISSAN Grille (there were 2 part numbers for that, one is with the "Burger" emblem and the otherone I am guessing is without...

Then the other one is an accessory grille... The FAST image looks like this for those that are wondering...

What it looks like in person... I have no idea... material... i have no idea... what finish it is... i have no idea...

Great stuff in this thread!

I always left the M45 and Infiniti on my car due tho the fact that I wanted everyone to know what kind of car it was. Lots of people ask all the time.

It does look so much cleaner without anything on the back!

Your bumper will still stick out past the grill. The grill will have a slight arch in the center while you USDM bumper will have that beak. I think it will look funny......but good luck !!!!

Well I know by searching Yahoo.jp that they sell our infiniti Grills over there and they don't seem to have any problems fitting so I'm guessing that its the same for at least a few of them for our cars. Heres a pic that I just found now/

heres the link: http://page11.auctions.yahoo.c...43493

RSR springs for 10000 yen ( 80 something dollars for us)

Good luck with this mod. show us pix when you get them!

That is funny to me how "they" want to look more US and "we" want to look more non US.

Clutch - question: what can you suggest on removing the orange defuser in my head lite to pure clear or is it simply a bulb replacement.

Cake,

Those are just bulbs. Get some chrome amber bulbs.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...03510

You can find them cheaper then the the PIAA ones. I have some on order for my clear tails and my front turn signals. Silver all around.
