Hey, i finally got my hands on a turbo from one of my buddies at volvo. Anyway, it cameoff a s80 twin turbo. Im not sure if its big enough for the ka but i cant find ANY info about the turbos online. Anyway, does anyone know anything about this turbo. there are on part and manufacturer numbers on the unit.

whoa those are tiny. i used to work at a body shop and all they did were imports, mostly volvos. i remember seeing those things and saying how small they are. i wouldnt even bother playing with one of those. 2 small *** turbos on a 5 cylinder wont quite cut it for one of those tiny turbos on a big 4. put it on ebay.

after some more researc h I believe it may be a TDO3, but i can not find anything that tells me how large that is. Anyway, it is a VERY small turbo, but I still hope it will work. thanks

Yeah, it really wont'. You may get 4PSI out of it on a KA and stay in the efficiency range. I used to be a Volvo tech, trust me, those things are barely sufficient for the S80.

the cost of doing that would be way over the amount of one nice sized turbo and alot more hassle. did you put it on ebay yet?

It would work really well to run a quad turbo setup with the TD03's on a KA, just run two off of the exhaust manifold and two off of the intake manifold. However, make sure on the intake manifold you connect them "backwards" so that they still function, since thats not their ordinary orientation.

or you could just run four off the the exhaust manifold and have a quad turbo ka :D

Again.........I actually think someone believes this is feasable. I'd almost bet some newbie will go buy four of the smallest crappiest turbos he can find and keep posting on here about how to do it. In fact, I will bet on it, especially here..........

maybe ill just put it inside my intake manifold for better flow.

blah blah blah

I've got two now, and all my peices to weld my exhaust manifold. Though, id rather not have a twin turbo set up, this one has and will cost me 0$.

Or better yet, you can post on the internet with totally irrelavent posts that help no one and do nothing but waste bandwidth and time.

or maybe you could actually be the first to do it? You know, just take the money from adding another slow car to your garage, to make a fast one!
