If you're using Redline stuff, then get the MTL-90 for the transmission. If you are going to be using this for hardcore racing, then you should get the Redline Shockproof gear oil for the transmission. I dont recommend the shockproof for standard street use cause it doesnt shift very smoothly until it warms up

I think I read in one of the magazines and they had the best result with half MT-90 and half shockproof.

I have always put MT-90 in my trans and I love it. So unless I see the dying need to, I would not put shockproof.

I know youre supposed to pour oil in till it starts coming out of the filler hole but I snugged up the drain and filler and poured Mt90 in through the shift tower when I did my swap a few months ago. The transmission takes like 2 3/4 quarts but I put all 3 in.

Think that hurts anything?

please don't use redline, they suck, and redline make transmission shift crappy . I recommand Neo synthetic 75w90HD from splparts.
