I have a few questions first I was wondering what kind of reliable hp u guys are seeining on stock internals. Im also wondering how reliable 600hp would be on full forged internals.

Im running 400whp on stock internals. Built internals should be fine at 600+whp. Its really gonna depend on how well the car is tuned.

Please clarify. If you are talking about SR which I think you are there are 500+ HP SR's running stock internals. But for a daily driver I wouldn't go much over 400. I'm sitting at 210 right now.

Stock internals have actually been taken over 630whp but didnt last but a few drag runs. So i wouldnt call it reliable. I wouldnt call anything over 450whp reliable on stock internals but you can drive it everyday without boosting much and have it last. Built internals have seen 1000whp with 150shot. But once again its not like your driving 1000whp all the time. Only when the peddle is to the floor.

400 HP on an SR is easy for daily. It is just an aftermarket turbo, FMIC, and basic fuel mods away. Your best bet would be to search for 400hp as a keyword and talk to a member who is making those numbers and copy their exact setup.

Since im a member making 400whp on stock block i guess ill be one to give my setup.

SR20DET Redtop GT2871R .86 Turbo (20psi 93 Octane, 24psi 100+ Octane)Deatschwerks 740cc Injectors Z32 N62 MAF Nismo FPR Power Enterprise Intake 20x6x3 FMIC w/ 2.75" Coldside & 2.5" Hotside Greddy Intake Manifold Greddy Turbo Elbow Greddy MX Downpipe Greddy Type R BOV Circuit Sports Turbo Lines HKS 264 Step 1 Intake/Exhaust Cams Greddy Rocker Arm Stoppers Megan Racing Exhaust Manifold Megan Racing Test Pipe GP Sports EXAS Spec D Exhaust Nismo Engine & transmission Mounts Power Enterprise Radiator Cap Walbro Fuel Pump (Hardwired)Enthalpy Tuned ECUApexi SAFCII

As far what size tires to go with. Ill be putting 275/50-15 Drag Radials on 15x9 Weld Draglite rims. Wheels will be a 0mm or +25mm offset and the fenders will need rolled and pulled to fit right. Without any fender work, you can probably fit a 235 or 245 tire in.

And there you go. Sweet setup BTW DrifterProdigy85 The 2871R is a turbo matched in heaven for the SR

Thanks. Im actually wondering how long this turbo will last being pushed 20psi for about a year now. If it blows, ill be upgrading to a Top Mount GT30R or something larger. Hopefully the block holds pretty good.

I was running 420hp with 103 octane for 3 good years of drifting on stock internals. Tuning is a major factor on how long it will last of course.

I think im close. It sprints to 175mph too quick to not think so. I just ordered a Apexi AVC-R to replace my junk Greddy B Spec II so once that gets dialed in, im gonna dyno it for positive numbers.

I'm scared to boost into the 20's. Wouldn't that put a boost spike almost at 30 PSI? The AVC-R pwns me. I've had it for 3 months now and have yet to get it hooked up.

Curious, this is my exact setup except with .64 turbo (love the fast boost) and i have 550s. I thinking about doing this exact setup, does the safcII tune pretty well with the enthalpy tune? If i were to do this project on my next setup (right now i'm making 350 without cams, hope to hit 370 @ 20psi when i get my 274s) would you use the same ecu/safc setup or would you rather just hitup a powerfc for $100 more?

SAFCII works perfect with the Enthalpy tune. Really you shouldnt need it though. With 47psi fuel pressure my Enthalpy Tune reads 11.8 AFR. If you want it richer than that, just add a psi of fuel pressure. The good thing is with the SAFCII, you can run race gas, check the AFR, and lean it out quickly. 274 cams are way too large for the 2871R .64. Stick with cams that mach the powerband of the turbo. 2871R .64 makes great power from 4-7500rpm. Go with a large 264 setup. 272 are meant for powerbands of 5k-8500rpm. Get larger injectors too. There maxed around 350whp.

Id also like to go PFC D Jetro for full controllability of everything. But its over a $1000 once you add in the PFC, Sensors, Harness's, and Datalogit (better than commander). Im just gonna save up for a Haltech or AEM.

Yeah well the PFC + Commando i'd be getting would be $690, so if I add in the cost of a rom tune and SAFC thats about the same price. I just didn't have the money to pay someone to do a 6 hour tuning job @ 80$/hour. I think I'll just push that 350hp and then add cams + 740ccs once I get that extra cash flow, hopefully I can put that boost up to around 22 with good tuning and get that 400hp.

Doesn't the Djetro just offer a map sensor though? Wouldn't you have to do some wierd flange on your intake manifold to read that?
