I have to replace all my power steering hoses tomorrow. I don’t want to go all the way to Nissan to get Nissan ps fluid do you guys use? Regular old Mercian IV auto trans fluid?

I would completely trust anything Ed tells us. He has been deeper inside every nook and cranny of these cars. I still have a warranty until Sept 2019 so I have kept my car 100% Infiniti and all work done at the dealer. I use Nissan fluids just to protect my warranty. In the event anyone wants it, here is the link:

But seriously, after my warranty expires, I will definitely be following advise from Ed and a very few others in here regarding non-Nissan products.

You can run any ATF in the Power Steering system, doesn't really matter too much! Personally PS fluid doesn't have to do too much so I just run whatever ATF that is cost efficient and change is somewhat regularly

I have used Redline synthetic PS fluid on my track 350z with success. Also on the G37s and now I will use it on the M35s. It's what a lot of track people use on the Z. I also upgraded the PS cooler but on the M it may not always be necessary (maybe if you run 22" wheels LOL).
