i got in a little accident and my grille broke. dealer wants 300 dollars to replace the grille. I thought, if i'm going to spend the money i might as well get an aftermarket grill.

so i'm asking what would look good on my g35 gray coupe.

i'm thinking i want the skyline one but have to repaint it or the steel lookiung one.

Hang tight...I'm asking around. You may want to look in the classified section too.

I have an OEM one, almost perfect. $60 + ship.

I also have an aftermarket one, but fitment is not great - Needs some "tweaking" and paint (it's primered and needs mesh), $40 + ship.

Had the exact same thing happen. Guy backed into me and took out (only) the grill. Figured I try an experiment and went with a fairly inexpensive billet top and lowers off ebay. The quality was alright (not great, not bad either) and in the end I saved a couple hundred clams.

It's not for everybody though and have gotten both positive/negative comments.

I like it fine though. IMO pretty much anything is better than stock though. Not that stock is ugly, just that it looks like everybody else's G.... now mine with the "custom" billet looks unique..... like the other 20 or so G's with billet grills that I see around town.

Hey what about me???

I want your grill too! I saw it in person and it was HOT!!! Is there mesh behind it?

I'd probably do slight mod to it and re-install the Infiniti Logo.

That's the one I have for sale that needs some "massaging" to fit properly.

There is a mesh behind it although mines ghetto fab'd...I used paper clips to hold it temporarily, but it held and now I'm too lazy to fix it. At least until it gets loose. And of course I wouldn't leave anyone out... check your email too by the way .

Mine fit perfectly 100% I didn't even have to drill holes or anything.

Sentientbydesign,

to answer your question, here's a close up pic of the grille (although it seems to emphasize all the imperfections of my car :/ )

why don't you just mesh the grill area in

or just leave it out

Haha I posted that pic to show the mesh but I guess that was a bad picture... There is meshing on the grille but it's towards the back of the grille, if that makes any sense. Unless you meant to have the mesh so that there is no indent on the grille? Although it looks kinda weird from the side, I like the way it looks so ha!
