What just happened to my transmission

So, I get in my Pathfinder (91 SE auto) to go get the kiddies from school. Put it in drive and rolled backwards. The A/T oil temp light is on. Well have to walk to school and walk back with 2 five year olds.So, I get back, pull up the procedure to do the diagnostic. Start the Pathfinder to warm it up, made sure the parking brake was still set.What do you know, no A/T light. So just to check, put her in drive, and she wanted to go forward. Anyways, let her warm up then ran diagnostic and got no codes. About a month before we got a code for the LINE PRESSURE VALVE. Haven't changed anything.So any one have any ideas as to what might be going on? Is my transmission in bad shape?We are getting ready to order a rebuilt transmission, but man, shipping costs are going to kill us.

I absolutely hate issues like that. . I prefer if something either works or doesn't. The half and half crap . . is. . well, it's crap. I'm still learning my WD21s, so *bump*
