i just did a single to dohc swap and it is scaring me:

HOT:40psi (idle)over 80psi '(at about 3k RPM) to over 100psi (at near redline)

HOT:25-30psidle)over 60-65psi '(at about 3k RPM) reaches 100psi (at near redline)

my ka24e was around

15-25psi (idle) {hot-cold}and around 50-65psi at speed {never going over that}

is this normal for a ka24-E to have higher pressure than a ka24-DE? Please help me out here

I hate to bump up an old thread, but I can't find the answer to this searching. If my oil pressure rises with engine revolutions, does that mean something isn't working right? I also have cooling problems, possibly a blown head gasket on my KA-T so I was just wondering if that could be any part of it.

My KADE would hit around 25-50 idle and smooth driving. 50-80 getting up to speed and around 100 getting on it 5400-6500)

Thanks so much. I was afraid something was wrong. My Pressure gauge was going all the way to the top, and I was afraid it had something wrong with it.
