The other options are the ones I really want. Some of these should be standard!

Well, I wanted leather seats, and when you purchased last year in October/November, you basically got what was on the lot.

Come on people! you can do more than that. Just 5 votes? You don't know why you purchased Rogue with options or too many people purchased Rogue without options or purchased just S model ?

I only have an SL FWD, no options. Besides, a loaded Rogue was out of my price range.

BTW, us Canucks get heated cloth seats as part of the SL trim in Canada. It's nice that I did not have to upgrade to leather to get this.

Ditto: Same model, same options (=none) because of same reason,.. and same color.

Euh..., Philippe, are we related?

I'm afraid you are going to find few ppl in Canada with loaded Rogues. The MSRP of an loaded SL AWD with premium, leather, and tech packs is $36,298 CDN. Nearly $8500 more than US MSRP. $36K is alot of money for a car in Canada.

You said it Philip, that is WAY too much to pay, and I definatley wouldn't call my FWD SL model "option-less". It has power-everything except for the seats, it has heated seats, heated side mirrors, cruise, air, aux stereo input.....what more could you want??!!

If I could have bought a loaded model for around $30,000 CDN I would have went for it. The only way that would have happened was to import one from the US.

Sorry, this has turned into 'Reasons why I did not buy a loaded Rogue'...

Wifey wanted leather...and everything else just came with that pkg....except for the moonroof...that was b/c I never had one before...BTW very few X-overs and SUVs have leather for under $30k....that was a main buying point too

I got my SL AWD with premium package/leather + the technology package in CANADA for $31k ($35k including all taxes)..... much better than the MRSP mentioned above.

I got it fully loaded for most of the reasons in the poll.... but mostly because it was my FIRST brand new vehicle and I wanted it with all the bells and whistles!

Need to have power seat (shorty here) that comes with leather package, wanted leather anyway after having cloth for years in Pathfinders, love moonroof, now glad I got bluetooth. Leased not bought--lease price was decent even with all the extras, so I got 'em!

I wanted the wife to feel like she wasn't giving up anything but a third row seat by, trading in our loved, reliable, loaded, but gas drinking Honda Pilot.

(Plus I get to play with the paddle shifter thingies!)

Rogue Mama, that is a really good price you got. Did you get it new or pre-owned? Can you tell us which dealer you got from?

XRogue ~ I got the Rogue brand new. I rolled it off the lot with 12 km on it. It came straight from the port in Vancouver as we really wanted the Iridium Graphite color.

We purchased it through Mills Nissan in Edmonton - which I would HIGHLY recommend.

Once we settled on the new Rogue – we made sure to check out all the Nissan dealerships around the province getting online quotes as well. Unfortunately we experienced high-pressure tactics and the typical stereotype problems associated with buying from a car dealer at these other places – which brought us immediately back to Justin at Mills who far exceeded our previous experiences with these other dealerships.

We found dealing with Justin to be a breath of fresh air of honesty and integrity in the notoriously shady world of car sales. He made the car buying experience easy, and we would not hesitate to recommend him or Mills.

Hope that helps!

Rogue Mama, thks for the info. I live in Manitoba. Not sure if there are any extra fees if I have them ship to me.Maybe I can convince my dealership to give me the same pricing. So far, they quoted me an SL AWD (without the Premium package) at about $33,500. Then there are taxes on top of that. Your pricing just sounds so good Did you trade in your vehicle? I did ask for a trade in.

XRogue ~ You should come to Alberta and buy... you don't even have to pay provincial tax here! The price you mentioned is way too much to pay without getting the premium and the technology.... shop around. We found getting the online quotes near the end of the month were much better (likely to meet their quotas) and taking those in good quotes in were very helpful in our negotiation process.

I didn't trade in..... my previous vehicle was an old '97 Cavalier and likely wouldn't have even been worth $1000. Bought it brand new back in '97 though and it was a great car all those years.

LOVIN' the Rogue though!
