So, I know that everyone here probably has something that they like to do in life to just have some fun and have something to do and keep yourself busy during those not so busy times in your very busy life lolz. So lets hear about em, and if you have pics, post some up.

I will start.

In my spare time, I enjoy model railroading, and am apart of the Slim Gauge Guild Model Railroad Club here in Pasadena, CA.

slimgaugeguild.com

I also do HID retrofits as some of you might have figured, which I take HID projectors from cars that come stock with them and modify them to work on cars such as the Versa which did not come factory with HID projectors (unless you are in Japan! )

The lights were not on in this pic, the projectors have a VERY clear lense giving them a GREAT rainbow effect! And I didn't notice the ball was there until after the pic lolz.

A rolling output shot.

I also enjoy DJing in my spare time, and do small parties for family and friends. But I don't think I have any pics of myself DJing lolz.

So, let's hear and if possible, see what your hobbies are!

Well I'm pretty lame. Basically I run an online baseball league here: http://www.leaguedaddy.com/leagues/?lid=772 with forums here: http://www.sportsgi.com/discussion

And I play World of Warcraft on the Alexstraza server (but I play so sporadically I'm not that good at it)

Other than that I work full time and go to college as well.

Been working out and playing basketball once a week until today when I severly pulled my calf muscle I'm sure I'm gonna be on the shelf for a week or two

Well, I WOW on Alexstraza sporatically as well ;oD (also not very good at it, but I like it. I have a Tauren Hunter and Human Warlock)

I love writing (published poet), I love all things outdoors (hiking, camping, taking a drive though a scenic area - though I have a lovehate relationship with that last one because I am also a Sustainability major...), I love to read (I'm struggling through Harry Potter right now and the only reason I am struggling is because I don't have enough free time with my current court schedule), I am sort of taking a break from people so I really don't hang out much... I talk with my secretary at work (she is awesome and I just enjoy calling her my secretary even though she isn't... she calls me hooker), but I like to spend my home-time alone for now... I have a housemate (Josh) and he helps out with bills and the Teagan... He is awesome, but I just don't feel that way for him so we just live together. It's weird.

Other than that, I 'MySpace' ... too much... I like CarDomain, but I'm experiencing a 'Camel Hiatus' until the new year, and of course I get on here... ;oD Somehow in there I find time to take Teagan to the park, cook dinner at least 3 nights, do my laundry, and still get all my PSIs to the court on time...

I can't wait to move to a job where I don't have 'homework'... ;oDI plan on eventually working for the parks service and then getting my masters... but there are 6 programs that I like and I haven't really narrowed it down yet. But there a part of me that is set on University of British Columbia and the rest of me is willing to see the living situation I am in at that time before deciding on UBC.

WOW.... that's a lot...

Hobbies I hope to have the money to do at any point in the future (I am ambitious):

-RC Helicopters-Model Trains-Kite surfing-Snow board (done it before, but want to have a board by Christmas for me and my wife, it gets expensive when it is 2 people)-skydiving-getting my pilots license

I am currently writing a nationally known book, 216: the Cleveland Sound. The book is about everything you want and need to know about the thriving Cleveland Music Scene.

I am in a Metal band called Harquebus (www.myspace.com/harquebusmusic)

I street race for some extra money and fun.

And I play some backyard football occasionally.

GO BROWNS!!!!

Free time? What's that?

When I'm not at the insurance company all day, I occasionally get the chance to work my second job as a bartender. If I'm not at either place, I'm working on raising my 4 y/o and 10 m/o (with my wife's help).

Usually after I put the kids and wife to bed, I'll head to the living room to all of TV shows that I've Tivo'd. (Heroes, Smallville, How I Met Your Mother).

I think I get sleep somewhere in there too, but it's too hard to tell.

Biggest for me is music. My wife and I play hammered dulcimer and mountain dulcimer and do concerts, workshops and festivals. I also arrange music for dulcimers and put out a newsletter sent internationally to over 1500 people.

Next is computers. I keep up a few active websites, including for our dulcimer club. (This after working all day with larger computer systems...)

And, as a few of you have figured out from my user-id, I am a ham radio operator. One of the first things I did to each of my last few cars was to have a hole punched in the roof for an antenna, but I haven't had the heart to do that to the Versa. An inside antenna works fine for my needs.

The advice that I can give you drummer is that depending on what kind of trains you like and what scale you get into will depend on how much you end up spending!!! lolz I am into HO scale and Sn3. Sn3 is very expensive, the pic I poseted above is an Sn3 White Pass engine which my dads company makes. I own one Sn3 engine as I can not afford them lol, and it cost me over $600, so start saving! lolz. It is a great and FUN hobby, and kids love it.

I used to collect obsolete and obscure computer systems, which led to my becoming a hardware technician. I am slowly rebuilding my collection (purged several years ago) to include mainly Apple equipment. I also own a 1934 International Harvester stationary engine, which I tinker with on weekends... (video on you-tube). Other than that, I spend hours designing buildings using cheat codes, and not playing the actual game, in "The Sims" (original version, I HATE "The Sims 2."

Let's see (this is in no particular order):

1. Film, mostly contemporary. I like the classics, but I don't have the time to catch up with 50 years of film. I keep up with the times and I'm pretty critical, a lot of people don't like that.2. Music. I listen to everything. Yes, everything from hardcore to classical to hip hop. I have an extensive collection, around 1200 albums, which amounts to roughly 15000 songs.3. Car audio.4. Food. I cook a lot and will probably own and run a restaurant someday.5. Guitar and bass/composing music. I've been playing for eight years, I've been in five bands.6. Nutrition. If you need to know anything about dieting and nutrition, I probably have the answer.7. Working out. I lift five days a week and run three days a week. I'm currently practicing to complete the 300 challenge.

Depending on the time of year, I play volleyball/softball 2-4 times a week.

Work out 5-6 times a week: Cardio-Kickboxing JUNKIE. Martial Arts-based fighting class. (not nearly as hard-core as it sounds--yet ) Just started Yoga.

Spend way too much time on the computer.

Read (Terry Prachett, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Stephen King, misc. others)

Try to catch up on my shows on the weekends. Thank the gods for DVR's.

Well I mostly play Alliance (because my gf's sister and her friends have a guild there) as a Dwarf Hunter named "Rhetorical" Level...about 34 I think. And a Gnome Mage named Beaneball around level 20.

I have a Horde character, an Undead Mage named "Putrescent" also around level 34 from

Don't reinstall, and do install the patch. I played it on the release day and was trying to run the deadmines (first time for me). It was awful. I got knocked off and then it was screwing with my vent (ventrilo voice chat). But I played for about two hours yesterday when I got home from work and was waiting on my wife to get home from her job and everything was fine. In fact when it normally locks up and kicks me off, it didn't. So I think the patch is working better now.

And to keep this post on with the topic, I left one hobby off of here:

-Cigars!-oh and beer is good too!

ok guys I understand there are a lot of WoW players here, but the chatter is getting a lil off topic. You can always create a thread about WoW so you Versa owners can unite! lolz
