Tell me what you think of your favorite intercooler, or if its not mentioned please respond with the brand that it is, and why you think tis the best.

Also, which FMIC do you think would be the best for a an S15 Turbo, and daily driven in the AZ heat? What is your favorite intercooler?

In recent test with the WRX STi the HKS core came out on top, with the highest efficiency and lowest pressure drop, Spearco was 2nd.

Mackin has ARC. Find a dealer that deals with Mackin and you should be able to get ARC.

After checking around, it'd be a toss up between the ARC or Top Secret.

i heard blitz shows the least pressure drop out of all...in the end, whichever one is a bar and plate, fits my application, and has nice triangular end tanks (meaning like this...) ==<[ ]>==

cuz that will help the flow the best...as opposed to end tanks being flattened so to speak, making the airflow have to change direction alot

but doesn't bar and plate also restrict the most (referring to air going to the radiator)?

supposedly bar and plate is best...fin and tube or w/e is not as good (i think greddy v-thing is that...r-thing is bar and plate)

arc is bar and plate as well as spearco, precision turbo, blitz etc...get it? lol

now compare prices to greddy v-crap and you'll understand how it goes...

Cracks me up that the retail on my ARC M7 core and endtanks alone is $900 (according to ARCs website) where as the full GReddy V-SPL FMIC kit is that much or less.

I have a TRUST 3 core FMIC and I don't honestly think its worth its weigh in donkey dung. Thats just MY personal opinion on my research, personal findings, and what I've learned about turbo systems.

Really the only thing I like about it is the tank is thicker in volume front to rear than the core is, so the inner wall of the tank is about the right level for the tubes.

Long cross flow designs aren't as good as a short vertical flowTank design not optimal for vertical height of the coreFlow tubes extrude from the coreTubulators aren't very well designedToo much pressure drop for the efficiency of it

Don't get me wrong, it works better than nothing and is prolly the biggest friggin thing I'd ever need.. but its just not what I'd really like -- Bigger defiantly does not equal better in all cases. Only thing I really truly like about it is most people don't know its an intercooler, it looks like an expensive radiator in my grille.
