I'm fond of Mazda, but do appreciate a range of GM products- Cadillac & Chevy, namely.

I am conflicted actually. I'm a die hard Z guy, and I've been forced to consider options down the line to accommodate kiddos.

To me, the Z is the be all end all in its segment. Plenty will give me flak for that, plenty others will understand completely.

Mazda is pretty much the best brand out there for enthusiasts across the board. They're not using CVTs, yet still churning out cars with a three pedal option that return excellent fuel economy while maintaining a somewhat exciting driving factor. I'm sure they're going to bring the speed3 back now that they're developing some momentum, and if they make a Speed6 it will very likely be my next purchase (that is, if I don't buy a used Titan to park next to my Z).

I like that BMW hasn't ditched three pedal setups as far as luxury sport goes. I hate that, because I would trade BMW for the reliability of a Lexus any day, yet Lexus offers no three pedal setups anymore. That is especially sad to me considering my favorite body style for a luxury sedan is their new F Sport IS350 (flame suit on).

I'm one of those Nissan enthusiasts that is kind of lost right now. Where I should be looking for my next car is the Infiniti brand, yet they offer no three pedal setups anymore at all. The Q50 is criticized often for not being sporty at all, and the M56 has terrible depreciation in the market, so buying new isn't an option if I go that route (I would just buy used, but I'm not convinced a land barge is what I'm after for a car). So Nissan offers no sedan that has driving dynamics even remotely similar to the Z, and that's ultimately what I want.

The only true answer to get what I want is an Audi S4, BMW 335 M Sport or M3 (too much $$$), or a Subaru STi or an Evo (which I ultimately feel are downgrades from a 370Z Sport/Touring). I have a bad taste in my mouth for German cars with respect to reliability, so I'm pretty much convinced that I will hang onto my Z forever and get a cheaper used Nissan truck that I can count on for 200k miles or so.

TLDR; I DON'T LIKE ANY OTHER CARS RIGHT NOW

Jaguar, Cadillac, Mazda, and Morgan if we're getting esoteric.

Mazda makes small cars that don't make me want to get out and walk instead. The only other automaker to pull that off was early-90s Nissan with the B13.

I LOVE my old Jaguar XF Supercharged it was the best car I ever owned.

I love Miata's too so selected that out of your list but the Jag is #1 in my book.

I gotta go BMW. I loved my 335i despite fuel system issues. The rest of the car was brilliant. Looked good, handled well and had enough power to make me smile. As for cheaper cars gotta say Mazda. I have owned a Speed Protege and a couple protege5's and driven numerous mx-5's and have always had a soft pot for them

I suppose it depends if we're talking new or used.

I've grown to like the simplicity, quality, and fun to drive ratio that Honda and Mazda has.

I like any car that has some aesthetic beauty and performance. It doesn't have to be earthshaking, but if the car looks good and feels like it expects me to do my job for it to work I probably like it. I like the RX7 because I always wanted to have a psycho girlfreind that can rock me in bed, but then steal stuff from my house to buy jewelry.

Love my old Z's I've had, but I have equal love for domestic muscle cars; particularly the Challenger out of the crop of new ones, and in the crop of classics, there are too many to list. I will own a '77-79 Trans Am eventually....not because of their lackluster performance, but because of a cool factor that most imports just can't touch, though some first gen Z's come close to. Call me nostalgic.

See my sig line for my current fleet. I've owned dozens of cars and trucks over the years. The Z cars are the ones I keep coming back to. I'm on my newest one ever now....it's an '85....LOL.
