91 240sx SE Coupe

Stock motor, 196,994 miles on the original motor. Still running fully synthetic oil through it. Runs really strong, BUT I heard a rod knock this morning when I started off right after I started it. It didn't help it was 30 degrees out Bums me out if it's going bad.

Neither did I when I moved here without a coat!

Yeah, the desert gets cold here at night. I'm used to Washington weather so it's not TOO bad, much better than the rain.

Your lucky, all you get is hurricanes

lol yea we dont really see the hurricanes b/c i'm about 4 hours from coast but we do see rain, heavy wind, and a lot of thunder storms. I've seen a few tornadoes after big hurricans too.

See, no thank you! I'll stick with my 120 degree heat and 30 degree *** freezing weather.

Tornadoes = hell noooo lol but I do like lightning. Do you guys get the storms every night like they do in Florida during the summer?

no not really. its kinda wierd here. it will be like a month with no storms and then it will rain/thunder for a week or two straight. it just stopped raining yesterday lol... the tornadoes arent bad. usually they just tear up the roads a little bit. We haven't had a serious one in like 50 years.

I think I would hate to drive a 240 in the rain... drove mine once in the rain here and my tires broke loose everytime I tried to take off normal. Glad I'm not living in Seattle with this thing, it would be hell!

By the way... I like the car, you have the same year/color as mine except mines an SE Coupe. Does yours have the digi dash?

Speaking of which, how many of you do have the digital dash with the HUD?

NA!!! I want to though, just bought the car almost three months ago so I'm just introducing myself to these. I'm debating whether I want to keep the KA and go KA-T or go the whole 9 yards and get an SR swap in there. We'll see soon.

You know anyone in town that does good work for reasonable prices? I'm alright with these things but when you get deep into this motor I won't go there lol.

Thanks
