What is wrong with people

I had a bad moment with my S13 a week or two back and I am in need of a new chassis. THe engine is running fine and everything fine but the body is screwed with frame damages so why even bother. So I've been looking around lately for S13 with blown engine. I went to FinishLine Motorsport and saw two S13 outside. I was so happy but my happiness was shattered by the bastard owner. He wants 1000 for the body. WTF?!! 1000 for just the body? The other one has no interior...nada...nothing...no seats no carpet no nothing and he wants 1000 also. I'm sorry but I'm not like his bangwagon buddies that think he's god so he can go kiss my yellow ..... He might be a cool guy but he lost all of his points trying to screw me over. So now I'm continue in my search for a chassis...sigh. Any tips? any help? I went to bunch of shops: collision, dealers, paint shops, anywhere you could think of and still no hope. I'm one depressed asian man.

actually, 1k for a body isnt bad. Some of the r-title bodies in boneyards around the area have worse deals than that.

You could get lucky and find an old lady or someone trying to get rid of their s13 just to make space for less... or keep searching on this forum for a deal. I dont know but i wouldnt take his deal so personally cause hes a businessman, obviously.

Yea. I understand that the brother needs to eat but I'm just angry cuz I seriously need a body. 1k? I know ppeople that found a running S13 for 600. I guess they hit some sort of luck. I'm going to stalk every 240 on the street and see if they're selling it or not. hahahha...I hope they're not going to call the police on me.

try the junk yards...sometimes i see s13's w/blown engines or trannies.

Go to Columbus, I see a new 240 up for sale everyday it seems. All hatches, bone stock. You could probably pick up a running one there for under $1000.

I bought my 240 for $600 it has a blown head gasket. It got towed to my house for free and it has a title. 2 small dents i big dent and then looks like the hatch was bondoed where they all rust. Interior is in great condition. Funny *** ghetto muffler on it though.

Columbus huh...how far is that? THat mean I might to get it tow....$2 a mile...I'm goin got be broke as hell after the tow. hahahha. Junkyard? A junkyard I went to charged me 800 for a shell with crushed fron't bumber..wtf. hahaha.

Tow? I'm talking about running 240's. They may not run perfect, but they can get you home. Unless it's flawless, shells should be $500 or less.
