my clutch pedal presses down to the floor and only kicks back about 5 or 6 inches then stops...if u pull it a littrle it will kick back to its fully extended position.while the car is on and clutch is pressed down to floor my shifter will not go into gear...it doesnt grind it just wont go in.....i checked the clutch master cylinder and its full.....there are no leaks and the pedal spring seems to be fine...what the hell is wrong with it?it is a 1989 nissan 240sx (hydraulic clutch)

yeah, sounds like you deffo need to bleed your clutch. I really recommend going and buying a 1-man bleeder kit. It's basically a plastic bottle with a magnet on it that you fill with fluid, plug onto your bleeder valve and pump away at the clutch. works great. For more info on how to bleed your clutch or consult your FSM.-Lech
