Just wondering since i am trying ot tune it correctly. I was also wondering if you are missing the first o2 sensor if that would cause the engine to idle/run crappy. I have the wideband plugged into the first o2 sensor hole is that to high or to close to the turbo? Should I weld a new bung in lower?

On safc going from -17 to -25 makes it leaner or richer? and -17 to -5 makes it leaner or richer?

whats ur setup? also what wideband are u using? um at idle and around town (no boost), u should aim for 14.5 a/f.......................in boost, shoot for 11.5-12................again, depends on the amt of boost ur running and of course on ur setup. hope this helps

You should aim for a nice flat 12:1 under WOT in boost, and I wouldn't boost over 10psi. Also, don't forget to knock the base timing back to around 15* BTDC.

Also, to answer your question about the stock O2 missing: The ECU does not look at the O2 input @ idle. Only during closed loop and light load driving.

how do you know if your safc is wired wrong?could the car not reving past 2500 can that be because it is wired wrong? Can I unhook the safc and reset the ecu to drive the car to a shop? would it drive like it did before i put the turbo in if i reset ecu?It seems like whatever I do to the safc the wideband does not change. Any suggestions?

thanks

you'll know you wired the SAFC wrong if your monitor shows nothing. does it show the correct RPM? Voltage? does it even turn on? did you CUT the MAF wire instead of splicing it like the others? does it show correct throttle %? and last....did you set the standard settings yet?

I did the initial setup. What are the standard settings?I did cut the maf wire. How would I fix that? It does show all the correct numbers.

Thanks for the reply

an idle condition would be a closed loop condition....you need your primary O2 sensor hooked up.
