I need to stay off my throttle to help out my MPG. I would suggest doing a good tune up. Also, make sure your compression is good as well. Are you carrying any dead bodies in your trunk?

i get 19 mpg in the city usually, with spirited driving. drove from LA to oakland and got 28 mpg (not bad for 12 years old, 28mpg is the factory specs for highway)

Biggest attribute to MPG is the way you drive.

Holy sh*t your mileage sux!! my friend who has a fully built 383 stroker LT1 with a T76 turbo gets like 22 mpg on the highway. What is your deal, you should get better than 7-9?

I get 20mpg in city/hwy but if I autocross or road race I get about 14mpg :(

Last tank I filled was after sundays auto-x (got first in dsp if anyone cares :) ). It was a mix of a bit of city, 70% highway averaging 80-85 mph and 4 blasts around the track, with some idle time while staging and I squeezed 24 mpg in my automatic :)

I get about 22 mostly city with alot of time in 2nd and a auto-x, to 28 (well havent seen that in a while but 27 recently) mostly highway at speeds, as its never 100% highway.

One of the best fuel boosters / mods still is the electric fan swap I did years back. I went from 24-25 to 27-28 on the average hehe.

I get like 23 in the city and 29 on the highway. Possibly more in the city if I manage to shift softly.:)

Get upper teens (17-19) in my everyday driving. Hit mid 20's (24-25) on my last road trip. Always run premuim.

yea use premium also... 205 per gallon... found a better one close to my house EXXON.... jsut filled up 4.8 awhile ago.. i wonder how long this will last me

I use premium cause for some reason if i use 87 i hear some cracking noise and my car shake nasty... tehn i switch to 89 it was solved... but whne i put 91 it is much beter... way smoother..... and the idle isnt shaky....

i only put 91 if it isnt more than 2;07 a gallon if it goes up i use 89 which suffice

Hmmm im in florida paying about a 1.70 iirc for 93....

As for your reasons to why cali is cool Ill gladly shoot them down...

I have the internet and do my own fabricating / labor. I realy dont care for events, unless there is some seat time (our drag and auto-x seasons is 12 months a year so I doubt you have more of those events :) ). I know of a few places I can get 104 on the street :) but have no use for it as well. Of course there is always the 110 / 115 at the track hehe.

Florida has no emissions nazi's so I win as I can blow this fuel out the back no matter how unfriendly it is :)

If he is, he wouldn't be driving a car, he would be riding the damn camel with 100 gallons of water per desert, don't you think?

I don't know exactly what my MPG is, I've driven my car only 160 miles since I bought it. But this is how I feel about gas prices though.
