Well I know when you hold the unlock button on the fob for more than 2 seconds then windows will roll down. So I guess someone or something was depressing the button on a spare fob or something... Someone just trying to play a prank on you?

Ohh, the fob does have that option. So, yup, someone was either pranking you or you had the fob in your pocket and something was pressing against it.

no my fob does not have that option because ive tryed it and doesnt work, its the stock fob too, and no i dont think it was a prank because it was only my girlfriend, daughter and me at home and they were outside too, and the keys were inside the house, i think something sent a frequency that made it do that, it sucks cause it happend again sometime in the middle of the night and i had to go put the windows up at 2 am. Should i try to reprogram my key fob or what?

weird...first off, your fob should work to roll the windows down. You have to hold the unlock button down and be relativly close to have the windows go down.

Second, if your not doing it accidentally, then... A) someone is f'ing with you

or

B)something else is causing the problem.

If you're positive that you have all sets of key fobs, and it still does it, I'd take it to the dealer.

I hope you and your neighbor are good friends...or else I wouldn't make him aware of what's happening.

There is a way to deactivate them from doing this, I would suspect the unlock button was contacting something since the lights flashed. If the lights did not flash then I would say it would either be a BCM issue of failing door lock actuator.

I highly doubt your neighbors car would set off your window, I would be very surprised if that was the case, they use variable digital pulse signals.

From my understanding, this feature has been standard on all Infinitis since at least 96.

Wish they'd get a clue and have included an "up" feature on my coupe (yes, I know I can buy the module from some aftermarket retailer to make this happen).

You can put the windows up by using the key in the outside door cylinder and manually locking the doors and holding it. The windows will then go back up.

i think it was just a low battery cause i replaced the battery with a new one and it hasnt done it again. The battery it had was old and water was spilled on the fob a few months back so it had some carosion on it

You may want to think about replacing the remote of using a high quality contact cleaner to remove the corrosion as that can cause some crazy electrical issues.

Having a remote with a potential internal short circuit may put your windows down when you least want it.
