Anybody else think that sellers on eBay are getting ridiculous with the prices of shipping these days? I noticed on szhosain's thread about the Infiniti grounding kit that the shipping was $18.99! What the hell!?

I sent out a decent sized box to my family a couple of days ago for around $5, so I'm thinking there's some BS here....

Lets hear what everybody else thinks about this.

alot of times people know they arent going to get what hey want for the item they have for sale, so they set a jacked up shipping price to compensate for it.

shipping & HANDLING. You are paying some lazy ebay cheat $14.50 to stuff your part in a box full of crumpled newspaper and drive to the UPS store with the 50 other boxes of junk he sold.

money well earned. :rolleyes

Those damn UPS stores ripped me off a couple times though. One I went there to ship something out. They charged me 5 dollars to package it and 30 to ship. Later I did the packaging and gave my package to a friend that has UPS daily pickup, shipping cost 18 bucks.
